Happy Thanksgiving Weekend ~ 2011

We had fun-and busy-Thanksgiving weekend this year!  We went up to Newton Wednesday night and had Thanksgiving dinner at Landen's Grandma's house on Thursday.  The food was D-Lish.  YUM.  I love Thanksgiving dinner!!!  We had fun hanging out with his family.

Thursday night we drove back down to our place to sleep and then got up on Friday and went to a wedding!  One of my dear friends, Mary Lane (my last companion on my mission), got married on November 25, 2011 to Colton Hickman!  Funny story, he was an elder in our misson too...bahhahaahahaha...yep, we're that cool.  Colton is great!  One time Mary and I made peanut butter balls for our zone but we dipped one grape in the chocolate...and Colton got it but of course had no idea until he bit into it!  His face was so funny!  Classic.  So anyway. 

They got married in the Mount Timpanogos Temple.  Their sealing was beautiful!!!  One of my favorite things is to be able to attend the sealings of my friends.  We are so blessed to be able to have eternal families.  It was fun to finally meet some of Mary's family.  We met her dad when we were in the waiting area. Then while we were in the sealing room waiting and the mom's had come in, her mom was looking around at everyone and she didn't realize who I was until her husband told her.  She is deaf so he was signing to her and once she realized who I was she came over and thanked me for coming...it was just a special moment.  I'm so thankful we were able to share in their special day!  Mary was so beautiful, as usual, and it was awesome to see them both so happy!  Welcome to married life my dear friends!!!   We love you!

After the wedding we headed BACK up to Newton for the rest of the weekend.  We did new family pictures on Saturday!  It was quite fun...even though it was freezing!!!  They turned out so well!  Adri really is so incredibly amazing at what she does!  There's a funny story that helped inspire this getting done: Adri told us that Harrison was at their house and was looking at their old family picture and he said something to the effect of, "Harrison is lost and Jared is lost and Aubrie is lost!"  Haaa!  He's such a funny kid!  That's right we were lost!  Now the picture is complete...for the time being...
