Back in Utah...

MY NEW CAR!!! I absolutely LOVE it!!! It is 3 year old but looks brank new :) and only had 8100 miles...it was a steal!

It has been so fun being back in Utah cataching up with old friends and getting settled into my new life. It was great to have mom and dad out here to visit and help me get a car...THANKS!!! I've loved being able to see Jared, Megan, Nathan and Rylie...it's the first time I've seen Riley since she was born (she was born right after I left on my mission)! I love being close to them. I'm still job hunting and hopefully I'll find something soon. I gotta keep the faith, I know it will all work out...this is where I am supposed to be :)

It was such a fun time watching the Super Bowl this year at the Clark's house! They always throw great parties :) We had games and prizes and TONS of food!!! We were all stuffed for sure. Good times, good times. It was kinda sad to watch the Saints beat the Colts, but it's all good. That's what happens when you play a game, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. It was a fun game to watch. The Saints played a good game. No fair weather fan here.

Vacation to Ohio!!!

Happy 16th Birthday Megan!!!


I've been so lucky to have spent the last week and half in Ohio visiting the Bell/Stirling Family. They are so wonderful for letting me be in their home and just be part of the family. I love them all so much! I've had a blast attending Kevin and Megan's swim meets and hanging out with them and their friends...ha! I used to hang out with them and get paid for!!! Oh, babysitting of course, but now I just get to hang out with them for fun. They have grown up so much! They can both drive now which totally blows my mind.

I got to "help" Megan (which means I get to sit and keep her company while she scurries around the kitchen) make treats which are always delicious! We also made me a fabulous tied fleece blankety which is perfect for cuddling with your favorite people :) Chad loved mine so much we made him one too! Heidi is as cute as ever and I loved being able to spend time watching Barney, Sesame Street, Dora or taking a nap with her. Chad and I played our share of Lego Rock Band! I actually can do medium now, which I am pretty proud of. That is some major improvement for me. Chad liked to sing AND play the guitar at the same time...he's pretty good at what he does. Granny loved hearing us rock out while she scrapbooked :) Craig is still a single parent to his horses and tried to get me to go on a ride with him...but after the "rodeo" extravaganza last time I was here I just had to turn him down...lightly of course :) We did save some lives though by donating blood! Granny and Grandpa always bring joy to my life, they just make me a better person being around them. I got to attend the Columbus Ohio Temple with them when Grandpa went for a sealing assignment. I love the temple!!! Granny enthused me by sitting and looking through all 5 photo albums from my mission! Traci, what do I even say about her...she's incredible. I love being able to just talk and laugh with her. She always has good advice for me! This family is wonderful...I sure hope one day I can have a family like this! I always take mental notes while I'm here for my future family :)

So...it's back to Indiana now. Time to actually get back to real life and work on becoming an adult. HA! That is scary. Oh, and back to dial up internet, blah...not looking forward to that! They have all had fun giving me a hard time about being addicted to the computer while I've been here...hey, you gotta take advantage of high speed internet while you have the chance! All in all I've had a great time and hate to leave, but that's life and you just have to do what you don't want to do sometimes.

Snow Day!!!

Wow! I haven't had a snow days in years...literally! But it is so fun. Last night I was hanging out with a friend from my home ward, Kailee, and her family and decided to spend the night and now we're snowed in so I get to hang out with the family. It is way more fun having a snow day with the Jensen's than alone at home by myself! We're watching movies and playing games and Mariah was just doing the cutest dog face in the world :) It makes me happy!

So, everyone keeps telling me to enjoy the time to be home and to figure out what I want to do and not rush into anything...so I think I'm finally getting it, it is okay to chill for a little while. That's why this snow day is perfect. I don't feel bad at all for sitting inside and doing nothing today. Hopefully we'll be able to make it to the Stake Center tonight for my High Council report...ah! The snow might just interfere with that...I wouldn't hate that, I'm fighting some kind of sinus or allergy thing so I don't really want to go anywhere...wow, now I'm rambling. I'm good at that. Okay, that's just about all for now, nothing important, just unloading some thoughts from my head. Done and done.

Trying to find a place in this world...

The new change in my life has caused me to enter the world of blogging. WOW. Taylor Swift sings what has become my theme song, "I don't know what I want, so don't ask me, 'cause I'm still tryin' to figure it out, don't know what's down this road, I'm just walking, tryin' to see through the rain coming down...Oh I'm just a girl trying to find a place in this world..." Yep, that pretty much sums it all up! Now that my service in the Florida Tampa Mission is complete I'm home in Indiana trying to figure out what to do with my life. Right now I don't really know what I want to do or where I want to go, I have lots of options and many people pulling me to where they are...so I'll have to check in with Heavenly Father and see what He has in store :) Who knows what will happen...I sure don't...I'm at the prime of my life, right? I'm just going to make the most of the journey of a lifetime!
