Well, if I'm being honest, this is one of my least favorite holidays. It's just kinda silly. I don't mind all the chocolate though (which I couldn't eat much of this year)...but I digress. We usually do close to nothing for this holiday. It's not worth it to go out to eat when the rest of the world is too. And I don't need gifts, we just had Christmas and my birthday is in 1 1/2 months. I'm good. BUT, I'll admit that it is more fun with a child. I didn't do too much for Ellie, but she was pretty happy with a few surprises :) On Saturday she got a Valentine's donut and a cute balloon and then today she got some new books. Simple but fun.
